Paul C. Cipriano, Jr., Esquire

Mr. Cipriano is an associate attorney at R&B’s Philadelphia office. He is a 1983 graduate of Temple University where he obtained a B.A. and majored in Business Management. In 1990 he earned his J.D. from University of Bridgeport School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey since 1990 and in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 1992.

After initially working for two years in a general practice law firm in Montgomery County, Mr. Cipriano has concentrated his practice to Workers’ Compensation insurance defense since 1994. He has over 20 years of experience representing employers and insurers in Workers Compensation matters and has litigated cases in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Mr. Cipriano has worked as in-house counsel for two national casualty and workers’ compensation insurers. He has lectured on recent case law developments in seminars. He has also written articles on unique issues in workers compensation matters. Most recently, Mr. Cipriano worked for eight years for a private Philadelphia defense firm representing mostly self-insured and municipal/governmental clients and agencies. Past experience includes defending fatal claims and toxicology issues.  He has successfully litigated and argued cases before judges, the Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. In 2014, Mr. Cipriano received the distinction of being recognized as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

He is originally from Norristown, PA and enjoys exercise, bicycling, photography and reading about nutrition and health related matters in his spare time.
