James A. Mazzotta

Mr. Mazzotta started with Rulis and Bochicchio in January 2024 after thirty-five years of practicing Pennsylvania workers' compensation law. His experience has almost exclusively involved representing employers, insurance carriers, self-insureds and third-party administrators.  He has worked with claims professionals in pre-litigation case management as well as during every phase of litigation.

Mr .Mazzotta has developed a particular interest in several subspecialties within the field. He has handled a number of psychological injury claims which were ultimately addressed in the Pennsylvania appellate courts. He also has broad experience with the various types of benefit offsets such as Social Security Retirement, employer-funded pensions and unemployment compensation.

Over the years, Mr. Mazzotta has routinely spoken at seminars on recent case law developments along with other timely topics of particular interest to the client.
