Lori Ann Gala, Esquire

Lori Ann Gala has over 27 years of Workers’ Compensation experience and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations Workers’ Compensation sections.

After graduating from Duquesne University Law School in 1988, she spent the first 3 ½ years of her practice working for insurance defense firms. During this time, she was responsible for litigating all manner of cases for the defense.

In 1992, her area of practice became primarily focused on representing employers and insurance carriers in all aspects of Workers’ Compensations matters. Through that practice, she had the opportunity to appear before Workers’ Compensation judges in all counties in the eastern part of Pennsylvania and appear before the WCAB.

After the enactment of Act 57 in 1996, relating to medical cost containment and UR fee reviews, she had the opportunity to lecture on the effects of the new law as it related to payment of medical costs.

Lori Ann and her husband, Ron, have been married for 28 years and have 2 children, Alex and Brandon. Her avocation is dance. She has spent 52 years in the dance field, 42 of those years teaching dance. She is also an avid skier and golfer.
